Mama's Medicine was founded by Jason Alan Smith and Giovanni Lopes around a shared belief: exceptional hospitality is created through intention.
What began in Los Angeles as a passion for beautifully balanced cocktails became a deeper pursuit — understanding how service, atmosphere, timing, and human connection shape the way an event feels.
That approach has earned the trust of private clients, planners, venues, and global spirits brands. Today, Mama's Medicine serves celebrations across California and Texas, held to the same standard it began with:

The Founders
Owner-operators, hands on the room.
Jason and Giovanni lead every service themselves. Their roots trace to a speakeasy cocktail lab tucked inside a Hollywood church, where the craft was refined one evening at a time.
The Texas chapter began with their first brick-and-mortar in Dallas–Fort Worth — FireHouse Gastro Park in Grand Prairie — extending the same standard to a home of its own. Wherever they pour, the details are never left to chance.
